Our Projects
Key projects and activities carried out by YÖRTÜRK Foundation in line with Turkish and European Union standards.
SWEEP – Skilled Workers Education for Employment Program
Financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey under the Human Resources Development Operational Programme, the SWEEP project received approval from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
Prepared by YÖRTÜRK Foundation, the project aims for the active participation of NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) youth aged 15–29 in working life through a three-stage training programme: personal development, vocational training, and on-the-job training.
YÖRTÜRK Board Visits Hannover Labour Attaché
During the visit, information was exchanged on elderly rights and care services in Germany and Turkey. A shared need for qualified human resources was identified and the development of an internship project was emphasized.
Visits were also made to retirement homes serving the Turkish community in the Hannover region, allowing direct comparison of practices between the two countries.
Empowering the Elderly Through EU–Turkey Dialogue
This project aims to strengthen civil society dialogue between the European Union and Turkey, focusing on integrating international standards for elderly rights and care into our country.
Through detailed fieldwork and face-to-face meetings, significant outcomes were achieved regarding the more active participation of elderly individuals in social life and their access to support mechanisms.
